From splitting the freshly felled (green) log to shaving horse to pole lathe, this rewarding craft takes you back to the days of the bodger, turning chair legs by hand in a woodland workshop. Unplugged and outdoors, Green Woodwork invites you to fully engage with and learn about our local woods – sourced with careful consideration for sustainability – and how to shape and turn the pieces you find into useful items for home use.

Projects include: candlestick holders, rolling pins, stool legs (a great group project), baseball bats and spatulas.

Facilitators: Rein Buyze and John Curteis
